Hi ,

Is viptela default behavior to copy inter DSCP to outer header  ?

Walk through document , it only mentions the rewrite policy

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/vedge-router/213408-implement-qos-in-cisco-sd-wan.html

Thanks

Hi Carl20849,

As per the Official Viptela training documentation this is what they say about that:

qos.JPGSo based on this I would say yes, but you can do a simple test with a wireshark capture and two host PCs.

That's right. When user sets a dscp value, that's written to the outer IP header as well; unless a different code point value is mentioned in rewrite policy. Use the rewrite policy to write to outer IP header
