Hello Guys,
Good Day !!
This is unbelievable and very surprisingly that Cisco stopped it own propriety Protocol EIGRP for the transport side for IOS-XE cEdge devices at version 17.9.4a and put under limitations and restrictions.
Now, due to this i am totally stuck in migration and looking for workaround as the Customer MPLS is using EIGRP and for the extension of prefixes from non-SDWAN sites and to bring UP the data plane tunnel with the SDWAN sites EIGRP neighbor ship must formed.
Looking for the help and support if anybody face the same issue or if someone know any workaround on this.
Really thankful if anybody help on this & early response is highly appreciated.

Hi Sushil,
Yes, EIGRP is not supported routing protocol on transport side. Normally static default is sufficient for transport. Do you need the edge to advertise any prefixes to PE?

HI Lei,
Thanks for your reply !!
Yes, the control connections on transport side comes UP via static routing and the BFD sessions also comes UP between the branch sites but the main thing I believe that we need to take care and put static routing where all the prefixes advertise dynamically.
Apart this: here in topology CE and Core Routing/Switching is on same box.

Hi,
can you share reference for it? I've never seen that IOS XE SD-WAN has/had EIGRP support for transport side.

default route in your side is all what you need
the only need for eigrp here if you use LO, and also this can solve
contact SP and make them redistribute link between your edge and SP and LO into eigrp from there side
