6500 / fabric interconnect

Hi all,

its any issue to get a fabric interconnect cluster connected to a 6504??

becuase we are reviewing to get a connection betwen this 2 devices without any nexus devices.... is any problem with that??

Hello ,

Yes, you can connect UCS FI to 6500 switch.

Make sure you configure STP port fast on the 6K switch ports connecting to FI ( if operating in End host mode ).
