Hi,
There are really only two ASICs on the Nexus 9300; the Broadcom Trident T2 and the Cisco Northstar ASIC.
The 48 10 gigabit Ethernet interfaces are connected to the Trident 2 ASIC and in the case of the Nexus 9396, the six 40 gigabit Ethernet interfaces are connected to the N9K-M6PQ Generic Expansion Module in slot 2.
The following block diagram is taken from the Cisco Live BRKDCT-3101 - Nexus 9000 (Standalone) Architecture Brief and Troubleshooting session.
