back up link very urgent for data center !!!

we have two sites 1 and 2 seperated 20 kms far away.at present it's having a single fibre link. need a feasible high speed back up connectivity..pls help with inputs..

I feel you need to keyin more info about ur current setup like the kinda equipments u have in place and the B/W u have at present.

Applications being run between the locations and the minimum/maximum B/W threshold of those applications.

Also about the Fiber availaibility like whether its fully owned by u or leased from a service provider or getting connected via SP..

Port/Interface availablitiy in ur devices also will be helpful to assess the setup and help for more suggestions/inputs in going for the new bckup connectivity.

Can you throw some lite on the topology whether its a full flat L2 or L3 connectivity between the 6500s ?

Also the mode in which those boxes are running either native or hybrid ...
