Can someone please explain this for me regarding N9K 100Gbps modules?

I am checking the comparison page for N9500 100Gbps modules. They have dedicated line for ACI Leaf and ACI Spine (screenshot attached).

 

What is the reason that none of the 100Gbps modules can be ACI Leaf and some can be ACI Spine while others cann't? The ASCI?

What if I do not use ACI to setup Spine-leaf? Does this restriction still apply?1.PNG

It has to do with the ASIC's (named CloudScale) that are part of those line card. The EX and FX modules includes the new CloudScale ASCI's.
