Hello
Does Cisco Broadcom Ethernet adapter 57712 (Cisco P/N UCSC-PCIE-BSFP= ) supported cisco Adapter-fex technology (802.1br) ?
Can I use this card on the none cisco Servers ( example IBM) ?

The adapter can be used on non-Cisco servers (however wouldn't be supported).
This broadcom adapter does not support Adapter FEX.

Do you know what is Cisco P/N of BroadCom Adapter 57712 that supports 802.1BR(Adapter-FEX ) on the none cisco servers? According to Cisco these two card Cisco UCS P81E Virtual Interface Card ( For Cisco UCS server only ) or BroadCom BCM57712 will do the job. *http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/adapter-fex/513_n1_1/b_Configuring_Cisco_Nexus_5000_Series_Adapter-FEX_rel_5_1_3_N1_chapter_01.html)
I asked same question on Broadcom forum and got a replay that only BroadCom 57712 from Cisco support 802,1BR. I planned to acquire this card from BroadCom, but after their answer I'm looking for the part numbers of CISCO.
Thank you very much
Victor
