There's no 1064e card for the C220 M3.  The onboard RAID controller is an Intel Patsburg C600.  Cisco only publishes C600 drivers for RedHat and SLES (Linux OS).    You could try the RedHat driver, but otherwise we don't compile one specifically for all distros of Linux.   The RedHat drivers we publish are for RHEL 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, 6.2 and 6.3.  You can find these in the C-Series Driver bundle on CCO (~2GB).

If you find a driver directly from Intel that's compatible with Debian that may also work.

Robert

thanks for the information Robert

* is there an additional Hardware RaidController for the UCS 220 with Ubuntu/Debian support ?

best Regards Rainer

We don't have official support for Debian on any of our platforms.  Not to say it will not work fine, but we just dont have the QA resources to validate every linux distro.  We stick with RHEL and SLES.

Pretty much if you can find the Debian drivers from the respective raid controller vendor (Intel or LSI) then they should work.

Robert

Like Robert mentioned, we won't officially support Debian on out servers, but it is still running the same(ish) kernel.

I don't see any reason you couldn't get it working.

A lot of the driver ISO files contain source files for building some of our drivers (like the enic and fnic drivers). Try unpacking the rpm files and see what's inside.

If you log into the CIMC you can get the model of the RAID controller you're using and look into finding the standard driver for it.
