Hi,

config is simple, just local - remote peer without any ring-groups or anything else.

Can anybody help what this messages tries to tell me?

I'm not sure if there's a problem...

regards

Frank

Hi,

this is not a problem. The message is informational only. Cisco is using by default udp to send certain types of messages between the peers even if you configured them for dlsw.

This message indicates that broadcast messages were send via NON UDP, meaning tcp, and this is in a retry function. If it is send via tcp, tcp will make sure that the message is beeing delivered and there is no need to retransmit.

Unless you have a specific problem you can ignore those messages.

You should most likely think about a more restrictive filter. You almost certainly dont want to forward this type of traffic in the first place.

thanks...

Matthias
