Hi There,

I was wanting to know if a cisco ucs b200 m2 server supports a Trusted Platform Module kit. If so is there a away to see if it is installed? If not can you purcahse and install it later after having bought the server? I know a cisco ucs b200 m2 server supports this functionality. I have looked around without any success.

regards

Damon

Hello Damon,

TPM chip is integrated into B200 M2 system board but it is disabled from the BIOS and cannot be enabled.

For B200 M3, it is separate add-on and can be enabled on the field.

Hi Padma,

Is there a way to get this enabled, to pay for the functionality to be enabled? Or is it a function that doesn't work for B200 m2 only for the B200 M3 onwards? Whay is it integrated on the motherboeard though can't be enabled?

Damon

Damon,

That is correct, that is only for M3's.
