Does Dual-homed fex support 802.1x authentication?

I want to know does N5K dual-homed fex support 802.1x authentication. According to my test, 5672UP with dual-homed fex support 802.1x authentication, but 5548UP doesn't.

5596 (6.0(2)N1(2) does support dot1x or at least it is in the feature-set.

5548 should support it as well.
