drop packets on WS-X6148A-GE TX

Working on an issue with packets being dropped on a port that is trunked to a virtual windows server. Originally I had a WS-X6148 GE-TX then I swapped it out today with a newer module. The packets continue to drop on several interfaces all with virtual servers trunked with different VLANS being trunk.

Any suggestions?

I hope the 6148 isn't being used to connect to high-speed servers.  This particular model wasn't design for that purpose.  6748 would be a better fit.

The 6148 GE TX works with high speed severs until jus t recently have I been ex preen ing packet lost. It comes in burst. Any where from 77mb or 128 mb at once. The trunk connected to the vm server is a gig connection. Which, should more than enough to handle the bursty traffic. What seems strange is when I upgraded to the A series card it made the problem worst. I'm running ipservices 12.2 33 SXI3. However, a week ago I tried to migrate to SXI5 with the same results that we made the problem worse .than improve anything. I had to back out of the ios upgrade. So, my next step is to move the sever over to a 6748 module.
