UCS-B# connect nxos a|b
snip..

UCS-B(nxos)# show snmp engineID
Local SNMP engineID: [Hex] 70xyz019038C604FE47460
[Dec] 128:000:000:009:003:140:096:079:228:116:096

Your rack servers connected to UCSM will not be running their own SNMP stack.

For standalone UCS servers you will need to ssh into the CIMC as admin and run:

C220-ABCDEFGHIJK# show snmp detail
SNMP Settings:
SNMP Port: 161
System Contact: who@where
System Location: unknown
Access Community String: public
User Input EngineID:
Trap Community String:
SNMP Community access: disabled
Enabled: yes
Serial Number Enabled: no
SNMP Engine Id: 80 00 00 09 04 5B 57 5A 50 32 33 31 37 31 44 55 50 5D

The SNMP engine ID is derived from the BMC serial number.
