I have a HP-UX server with 4 GigE NICs. I would like to have them span 2 switches, and have them all aggregated together into a single logical link. Can I span switches like this, and if not, why? Thanks in advance.
From a switch perspective, you can aggregate ports in a port channel, assuming that the HP-UX supports this, however port channels cannot span multiple switches.
