Host name unresolved

Hi, i have configured my server in packet tracer and its DNS settings too. But when i try to access it from Laptop with //www.iot.com which i set in DNS settings of server, it shows Host name unresolved error, however when i put the IP address in URL box it worked. can anyone help me how to resolve this host name unresolved error. Packet tracer 8.0.1. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

check your DNS server again. IP or name may be wrong and make sure you have access to DNS server from PC.

 Do you have a DNS on the topology? The Wright window is blocking the view

Is is good to give the full topology when needing help. What is your cable modem connected to? What is the ip address of your DNS server that you entered into the Wireless Router. You will not get a reply to a public ip address such as 8.8.8.8 in Packet tracer unless you configure it as a host address in DNS.
