Hello Community,

I have encountered interface down when migrating c3750x-48 interface to Nexus 93108TC-EX.

The end host is a legacy network and it uses 100M interface.

Nexus 93108TC-EX has GLC-TE interface to accommodate migration coming from c3750x-48.

Below are the configuration, interface properties, and status:

c3750x-48: Current Connection

3750# show int status | i connected

93108TC-EX: Destination port

interface Ethernet1/1
description XXXX
no cdp enable
switchport
switchport access vlan 200
speed 100
duplex full
no shutdown

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Port Name Status Vlan Duplex Speed Type
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eth1/1 XXXX notconnec 200 full 100 10g

TSHOOT:

Apply interface as spanning-tree port type edge but to no avail.

I tried to undo hardcode to use auto neg but still physically down.

93108TC-EX(config-if)# no speed 100
93108TC-EX(config-if)# no duplex full

93108TC-EX# sh int status
Eth1/1 XXXX notconnec 200 auto auto 10g

Is this something related to negotiation, duplex, speed still?

I just notice that the MDIX is off on nexus interface by default, I haven't tried to enable. Can this be solve?

Thanks,
