Migration from FEP to CIP/OSA Express

I have a customer examining moving from his current mainframe FEP setup to the use of either OSA Express or CIP. Most traffic is standard PU2 and this will be migrated to IP either on m/f or on CIP routers, but he also has a small number of X25 lines and one SNI link.

What limitations / recommendations are there for these scenarios ?

I understand that "one sided SNI" is possible - where can I get info / sample configs etc

thanks

Try the following URL. It has FEP to CIP examples but not actually for SNI -

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/697/fep.html

There used to be a really good Red Book from IBM though, which gave examples of the differnet ways to set up SNI connections.

For the SNi aspect, you can use ENTERPRISE EXTENDER combined with stack TCP/IP. For lines X25, the solution is to use XOT in the router with a software on the m/f (TCPACCESS Server for X25 of CA).
