Hi,

Do you have either the Layer 3 Base or LAN Enterprise license installed? You can see this with the show license brief command.

Along with what Steve said, make sure you have the software requirements to support this module.

In order to support the N55-M160L3-V2 you need to run a minimum code of 5.1(3)N1(1).
