Hello,
We have setup two N3K (Nexus 3172T) forming a vPC domain. The system administrators are trying to configure a cluster with 3 nodes, that runs multicast. We cluster is not able to form.
I have tried to disable igmp snooping for the specific vlan (a solution that was once successfully deployed for another cluster), but it fails. I also tried to configure static-groups via the commands:
N3K-1
vlan configuration 149
ip igmp snooping static-group 224.1.1.1 interface Ethernet1/5
ip igmp snooping static-group 224.1.1.1 interface Ethernet1/9
N3K-2
vlan configuration 149
ip igmp snooping static-group 224.1.1.1 interface Ethernet1/5
where Eth1/5 and Eth1/9 the interfaces where the servers reside, but again no luck.
Attached is the "sh ip igmp snooping event-history vlan" output from both switches, which I truly find cryptic...
Any ideas, insight, info etc will be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Katerina

Hi all,
as it turns out, the information provided by the sys admin were incorrect. The issue is not for the oracle cluster, but for Windows 10/Windows Server 2016. The system guys are trying to successfully set up multicast on these machines. So for the time being, the issue is not network related.
Thanks
