Nexus 5600 Licensing Grace period

Is there no grace period for the LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG ?

When trying to enable ospf with feature ospf i get "No available license - LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG error feature does not have an installed license. "

With other licsense packages such as LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG i get the expected "LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG license not installed. bgp feature will be shutdown after grace period of approximately 119 day(s)"

Is the LAN_BASE different from the other licenses? This is a new switch so the grace period has not allready been used.

Hi ciscowiggle,

    I face this issue recently, with 5672UP Nexus Switches. To enable ospf the only option it's to receive a evaluation license for N56-BAS1K9. But I wasn't lucky using the evaluation license that you can download directly through Licensing Portal. When applied it, I got a corrupt or invalid license file. The only way I could enable OSPF in grace period was asking for eval license to Global Licensing Operations, through TAC Case, at Contact Us form.
