Nexus 7000 Default Gateway forwards to default VDC when next hot is not reachable
We observe that a static default route on a Non-Default VDC pointing to a firewall changes the next hop to the default VDC when the next hop is not reachable. This occurs even the Default VDC is not redistributing or originating a default route.
The same event does not occur when a static route next hop is not reachable.
What version of code are you running? Does the packet actually get forward? Can you show me the output of this on your nexus, I'll see if I can get this reproduced in my lab as well, but would like to see how you have this setup.
