Nexus 7K SPAN Traffic Limiting

Hello,

I'm trying to find out the options to police/limit traffic that is going to a SPAN destination port.  Are IP Access Lists or any other method availble?  I appreciate any input.  My sniffer is being overloaded by a few streams that do not need to be monitored.

Robert,

You can filter the vlans on in the SPAN sessions. If these hosts are in different vlans, certianly this will help. Also, you can configure the Private vlan options to fuether filter the traffic.
