When i issue command: show svs con

I can see vmware-vim is running over https. Anybody can give a brief explaination abour remote-port 80 means in the output?

Hi David,

The remote port is used to configure the remote host TCP port that is used for the initial connection to vCenter using HTTP. This is by default set to port 80, unless you have changed this setting within vCenter in which case you would need to modify this setting.
