Slow Oracle Web access over Frame-Relay

Hi,

Users from a remote site using Oracle Web Client complain of slow speed over the FR link. The link is not congested. The speed was supposedly better over VPN --

Changed the mtu settings on the ethernet (ip tcp adjust-mss 1380) of the 2600 to 1380 and from the network end, it showed better response, even the user confirmed good response. After one day the users are again complaining -- Anybody faced similar issues ?

What's the version of the code you are running?

Can you please provide an output of "sh tcp"?

If you have many tcp connections, you do "sh tcp brief" first, then do "sh tcp tcb " of the connection you are concerning about.

Thx for the response. Apparently it was a single user messing up their LAN, we got him off and things started working normally.

The ip tcp adjust-mss was the solution.
