HI, I'm Ermanno Lavezzoli from Seceti Italy.
I have a couple of FEP (Ibm 3745) connected through X.25 (NPSI). At VTAM level they talk via SNI gateway-to-gateway.
I have to eliminate the FEP in one side transforming the SNI gateway-to-gateway into single-gateway.
Is it possible to connect the X.25 line to a router which in turn is connected to host through an OSA Ethernet? If possible, please give a sample.
The function the router should perform is QLLC over X.25, given that the FEP/NPSI talks using QLLC over X.25.
I found samples of FEP-TO-FEP over SDLC (SDLLC), but nothing about FEP-TO_FEP over X.25.
