Hello,

We are in process of replacing our old 6509 switches, which we use for connecting our servers.

We are thinking of either going with 6807XL or 4510R+E.

Need some suggestion on this.

What was the reason you used a 6509 in the first place?  Was there some feature you needed?  Was it the performance?  Anything tricky, like MPLS or BGP?  Any special blades in the 6509 (like firewall blade, etc)?  What are your expectations around 10Gbe, 40Gbe and 100Gbe connectivity?
