Teamed Nic using FEX 2248TP

I currently have the following topology:-

I require to configure LACP for teamed NIC. Is this possible and if so, is this achieved by using Port-channel or vpc? The software version is 5.2(1)N1(4)

I have looked online and find conflicting views on this?

Yes this is possible, this can be done by adding the FEX HIF ports into a mode active port-channel. No vPC ID is needed under the port-channel since the FEXs are already dual homed in a vPC.
