We're getting a Nexus 5548 w/10GBASE-SR SFP Modules and will be connecting them to HP DL380 Gen 8's with DAS using HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530FLR-SFP+ Adapters.
I'm trying to get most of the configuration done ahead of time, but wondered if I need to configure the HP connections are fibre channel ports or ethernet with VFC's? I guess I'm not sure how the switch will see the adapter.
Thanks in advance.

The switch will need to be configured as Ethernet. With classic ethernet or CNA, the swith port will be ethernet. CNA cards would need the additional configuration of FCoE. HBA cards would need the switch to be configured as FC ports.
