vpc role and peer-switch/gateway

I have two nexus switches, their role priority are the same, but one is primary, (1) i wonder how this primary role is derived?

(2) if without using sh run, how to verify peer switch is implemented? my stp root bridge id is not equal to vpc  local system mac

(3) my vpc local system mac is not equal to vpc system mac, so does peer gateway implemented?

In case of tie (same role priority value defined on both peer devices), lowest system mac will dictate the primary peer device. you can get more info about this from the following links
