vSphere 6.5, VSUM 2.1?

We're in the process of upgrading our vSphere environment to 6.5 (earlier than I had hoped) and have run into the fun that is the 1000v upgrade. 

It's all gone more or less OK. We updated our VSM to 5.2(1)SV3(3.1), then did our vCenter 6.5 upgrade and are now going through the dance of updating hosts and VEMs.

Curious if anyone here is running vSphere 6.5 with VSUM 2.1? If so, any issues? 

We've been having some odd issues getting hosts/VEMs updated and I was thinking VSUM might help.

VSUM 2.1 is not officially supported with ESXi 6.5 as per the following

Software Compatibility

This release of Cisco VSUM supports vSphere 6.0, 5.5, 5.1, 5.0, and 4.1 release trains for Cisco Nexus 1000V and vSphere 6.0, 5.5, and 5.1 release trains for Cisco AVS.
