API response for PSIRT security advisories do not include Non-Cisco product?

I just started using Cisco APIs for collecting security advisories. Are those advisories which can be obtained from Cisco API only for Cisco products, but not for other non-cisco products?(like Windows so on)

In the Web site, like "Cisco Security Advisories and Alerts" can search for advisories for non-cisco products.

It would be appreciated if we can obtain same information by APIs.

Hi there,

As you have correctly noticed the PSIRT API does not give details for other vendors.

If you want that information, most major vendors offer similar APIs. Probably the best option is to use CVE API:

www.cve-search.org/api

...which provides a wrapper around basic API offered by cve.org , allowing you to specify vendors for example.
