How to block https web site by Content Filtering on RV345 ?

I have go a CISCO RV345 router. But I cannot block https web sit like www.youtube.com

I know it is blocking the http web site.

Is this possible to do that on RV345 ?

as long as you blocked the domain - this is for all HTTPS or HTTP. what is the log show any indication ?

I have found this thread not make any sense some product has this feature lower model compare to the higher model.

Hello Anthony,

On RV34x series the content filtering is based on Linux local filtering and doesn’t support HTTPS. In order to filter HTTPS, you need the RV security license (https://community.cisco.com/t5/small-business-technical/cisco-rv340-series-security-license-ls-rv34x-sec-1yr/ta-p/3850789) which enables web filtering. Youtube is categorized as Streaming Media. You can look up the category on GUI (attached).

Thanks for your reply.

I am just a home user. I don’t expect to spend extra money on Licensing for a simple feature.

The reason why I have bought RV-345 but not the other Brand is because I trust Cisco can give me the best user experience.

I think I need to do more research before I buy any other product from Cisco.
