FAQ

CUE 3.0,3.1 and 3.2 FAQ

CUE 2.3 FAQ

How to turn on Http in CUE 3.0.1?

Following are the Steps:

1) Check if you have a crypto key configured by issuing the CLI “show crypto key all”.

2) If you have a key configured make sure you reloaded the CUE  after you generated the key.

se-10-50-10-125(config)# crypto key generate rsa modulus 1024
Key generation in progress. Please wait...
The label name for the key is se-10-50-10-125.cisco.com
This change will not take effect for Tomcat until the module is reloaded

3) Also on Internet Explorer check if you have TLS enabled.  Tools -> Internet Options-> Advanced. Check if the Use TLS 1.0 box has been enabled.

4) Now type the address as https://<ip-addressof-CUE>

Are there any plans for adding support for other mailservers than SMTP , like POP3 in CUE ?

Currently CUE supports Email message notification using SMTP and message retrieval using IMAP.  There is no plan to support message retrieval using POP3.

Is more than one NME-CUE or AIM-CUE supported in one ISR chassis ?

You can install more than one NME-CUE or AIM-CUE in one ISR, but it is not a supported setup. No Regression testing has been done for this kind of setup and if there are any issues TAC or BU will not support the deployment.

Is historical Reporting supported on CUE ?

It is supported with CUE version 3.0. In Historical reporting , information and statistics related to call and application events can be saved in a historical reporting database on the CUE  module  The reports are then generated from the database and exported in various formats by the Historical Reproting Client (HRC).

More info on this feature can be found in the link below:

Is there a way to upgrade to the new license without re-installing the CUE software ?

You can use software install clean to install the  new license and reload the box for the new license to take effect. This will just install the new license .
