During the installation process, the Cisco Jabber Video for TelePresence installation wizard checks to verify that your hardware and software meet the system requirements and displays a warning if they are not met.
If you are using an external camera, be sure to connect the camera before launching Jabber Video.
Windows
1. After you click Sign up, you receive an email with a link to download and install the application. Click the link in the email.
2. If necessary, click to accept any security warnings that appear in your web browser.
3. Click Run on the download screen. If prompted, click Run again.
4. After the application has finished downloading, the InstallShield Wizard appears. Click Next.
5. On the End User License Agreement screen, click I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next.
6. To accept the default path for the install directory, click Next. To modify the path, click Change and follow the prompts.
7. Click Install.
8. After the installation has completed, make sure the Launch Cisco Jabber for TelePresence box is checked, and click Finish. Jabber Video opens automatically.
Mac
1. After you click Sign up, you receive an email with a link to download and install the application. Click the link in the email.
2. If necessary, click to accept any security warnings that appear in your web browser.
3. Double-click the Macintosh .pkg file for Jabber Video. The Installation Utility appears.
4. Click Continue.
5. On the End User License Agreement screen, click Continue, and then click Agree.
6. On the Select a Destination screen, choose Install for all users of this computer. Click Continue.
7. To accept the default path for the install directory and begin the installation, click Install. To modify the path, click Change Install Location and follow the prompts.
8. After the installation has completed, the success screen appears. To complete the installation, click Close.
