This is the SRP500 configuration for Telefonica Brasil ADSL Services, big thanks to Andrey Cassemiro.

Dynamic  IP Address assignment

Below is the configuration for Telefonica Brasil ADSL  Service using dynamic IP Address:

  • Internet  Connection Type: PPPoE - PPP over Ethernet
  • ATM PVC: Static
  • VPI:  0, VCI: 35 (as  indicated by Telefonica)
  • Username: <Your account login with the Authentication SP> http://www.telefonica.com.br/residencial/proveedores
  • Password: <as indicated by Telefonica>
  • Service Name (Optional): You can add a short description such as "ADSLConnection" or anything else you wish
  • Primary DNS (Optional): If you leave it empty, it will get it from DHCP. Telefónica primary DNS is 200.204.0.10
  • Secondary DNS (Optional): Telefónica secondary DNS is 200.204.0.138
  • Connection:  Keepalive. If you want the router to disconnect from the service if no Internet activity happens, select Connect on Demand. If selected, include the idle time the router will wait to disconnect in case there is no traffic.
