SPA500 IP Phones allows use of its MACRO expansion variables inside Cisco XML Services sessions. Following MACROS can be used:

| MA | MAC Address | In lower case |
| PN | Product Name | e.g. SPA504G |
| PSN | Product Series Number | e.g. 504G |
| SERIAL_NUMBER | Device Serial Number | |
As example, $MA will expand to the phone MAC address.
