Smart License Using Policy -- NO RUM report

Hi,

I'm in the process of understanding the Smart License Using Policy (since 17.3.2) and have a question about the following point...

  • After implementing the ‘Smart Licensing Using Policy’, customers are responsible for submitting usage reports per the reporting policy installed on their devices instead of registering each device through their Smart Account on Cisco Smart Software Manager (CSSM).

as far as I´ve found during my search is that there will syslog messages appear but what else will happen/be the consequence, if the reporting to CSSM is not performed neither automatically nor manually?
