Call manager is correctly discovered in CSPC but SNTC not showing any hw or sw info about the CM.
Cisco unity server and Presence server shows all the hardware and software information but the Call manager just shows the hostname and IP address in SNTC , may be due to that no phones are discovered on the portal

Hello Lalita,
It appears the call manager is being collected using SNMPv1.
Ideally you don’t want to be using SNMPv1, this normally leads to some features missing, in other words, SNMPv1 is more limited than the other 2 newer versions.
We would like you to remove SNMPv1 credential and use SNMPv2 to scan and rerun an inventory/upload.
Please give this a try, we can verify the results upon new upload.

Suchita

Hello Lalita,
Thank you for the details.
It appears that the call manager is missing SnmpObjectID in collection, due to which portal did not profile the call manager.
I am checking with CSPC experts on what settings can be changed to collect the sysobjectid in this case, and will get back with the update at the earliest.
Regards,
Suchita

Hi Sucitha,
Added the call manager using snmpv3 and now we are able to see the hw/sw details of call manager and also we are seeing all the phones in the portal.
Thank you so much!
Lalita
