Changing Active Alert Status

I'm trying to update hardware alerts in SNTC to reflect only what I'm concerned about. If I go to Library>Alerts>All Hardware Alerts I get errors trying to make the change. The most common is "Request Entity Too Large". If I clear browsing data, I get a different error. If I go to Library>Administration>Active Alerts I can make one change before I have to clear browsing data. If I don't clear browsing data after the change, I get the error "Request Entity Too Large".

How can I make changes to Alert status without having to clear browsing data after each change?
