excluded as it is already managed by another IP address

Hi

Has anyone else come across this problem

When I tried to discover one of my known devices it states that it has been excluded as it is already managed by another IP address, The IP address it states is not on the device or even one used with in that network, the only thing it has picked up correctly is the hostname but when I go to look for it with in my managed and non-managed hosts it can not be found

Hello,

 

Has the device been moved around in the network recently? Perhaps the collector knew about it in a different location by a different IP? The discovery is not working because the collector already has that serial number in its database. I would suggest finding the IP in the collector that it says is managing this device and removing it, then trying the discovery again.
