Dear community.
My collector is now running since 4 weeks and discovery, inventory and upload jobs are running. But I could see only 10 7925 from my callmanager at SNTC portal. That mean collector could access the Call Manager by SNMT v2 but did not get all information.
Any idea ?
Kind regards
Christian

Hi Christian,
I have checked the all equipment report and found there are Call manager reported, So it could be because of collection file issues where 10 devices properly collected but others may now .
If you have any query for specific device issues please create a TAC case where we can request for details to perform further analysis .

There is a product from Cisco that help Cisco to get informations from customer. The customer have to install it and if they have trouble then the customer write to Support Forum. But here some times they ask the customer to open TAC case. If I open TAC case then they tell me I have no contract to open collector tickets.
This would be Ok if everything work without an problem, but since I install collector I have an error on CLI where i seem that I have to reinstall collector and not all devices on call manager aare discovered because of an file issue. That mean without an support contract it is a problem to run a collector because there are some SW issues.

I did a reinstall the collector and now got more devices in my inventory. But still not all phones discovered. Because of this I play with timers, but did not help.
Maybe I did not configure right credentials. I configure for CUCM SNMP and for my switches and router SSH2.
I read through documentation and could see that collector get phone information by SOAP XML. Is SNMP for Call Manager not enough ?

Hi Christian,
SNMP is all that is needed for the Call Manager.
Thanks,
