Resetting Collector Password Without Security Questions?

Hey everyone,

I have a customer that is wondering if there was a possible alternative to the Security Questions in order to reset the password to their CSP-C Appliance. Let me know of any other avenues, or if they customer cannot access the appliance and needs to re-install possibly.

There are only two formal ways to reset GUI password.

CSPC provides 2 ways to recover password.

1: Using security question ( configuration required when password is created)

2: using OTP by email  ( optional configuration on the application )

Other than these 2 redeploy is the only other formal alternative

What version of collector is this? if customer had mail setting configured in order to use OTP (one time passcode) feature, customer can get one time passcode to login to collector. Enter username 'admin' -> click on forget password? -> reset option to select 'one time passcode'-> generate one time passcode. If this feature is not set, then unfortunately re-installation is required.
