Hi.
We are a Cisco Partner and my customer doesn`t have Smartnet Contracts, they have Partner Support Contracts.
Can they use the Smartnet Total Care collector and portal with this kind of contract ?

Hello,
The Partner Support Service contract cannot be used to register for Smart Net Total Care. Along with the Smart Net Total Care contract the following contract types can be used: SP Base & SP Assurance; Essential Operate; UCS; Solution Support; and Cisco One.
Note, your customer does not need to cover the entire installed base under Smart Net Total Care to be entitled to use the Smart Net Total Care portal/CSPC collector.

Hi tfitch.
Thanks for your feedback.
Let me be sure to understand your answer. According to you answer, the customer must have minimum one Smartnet contract in the installed base. For example, if the total insalled base of the customer is conformed by:
One Cisco Partner Support contract with 10 devices covered
and
One Cisco Smartnet contract with 1 device covered
then
The result would be that the customer can cover under Smart Net Total Care the total installed base which is conformed by 11 devices ( Partner Support + Smartnet ), therefore the customer would can use the Smart Net Total Care portal/CSPC collector for the 11 devices.
Is this right ?
Thanks.

Yes that is correct. The collector will collect the Cisco Installed Base, this is then presented in the portal. All Cisco supported devices will be shown in the portal independent of the contract coverage on each device. The system will not display the contract details of the Partner Support Service contracts to the end customer as these contract details are only seen by the partner who sold them.
To add to your example if the customer had : One Cisco Partner Support contract with 10 devices covered and One Cisco Smartnet contract with 1 device covered and 100 devices not covered by a contract then all 111 devices would be shown in the portal.
Note: In your example above the end customer would use the 'One Cisco Smartnet contract with 1 device covered' to register to use the portal.
