Term of SMARTnet on new products

I'm ex-Cisco.  I remember when we sold SMARTnet long ago, if the customer purchased SMARTnet with their new product, they got 15 months of the support for the price of 12.  SMARTnet replaced the 90 day warranty period so that the attach-rate would increase and customer objections to buy SNT before installation would decrease.

Is this still the case?  I'm working at a partner and not sure.

We purchase, not sell.  However, we always get 12 months.  I have heard of folks getting 15 months on specific products as a promo only, but it is not standard.
