CSAM Tool not recognizing my CCO User ID

Hello,

 

I ran into an issue with a customer earlier today trying to give me admin access using CSAM. It looks like all the options were greyed out. I have associated my CCO user ID with the customer's contract # already.

 

Please help.

To become CBR admin, partner DA has to associate user with partner company which is first step in the process. Please follow below:

 

SNTC Portal Administration and Management Guide: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/services/sntc/portal_administration.html

 

Once that is done, customer DA can assign role for SNTC portal. Please do let me know if you have any further question on this.

The DA tried to do what you said but we got the following error: "the user ID was not found, or is not associated to your company..." I am associated to the company as a partner. Something is strange... Please advise. Thanks!

Just double-checked with Cisco and my CCO user ID is correct and associated to the correct company. Could there be something wrong with the CSAM tool?

Hi Anthony,

 

I checked further and found that you are not associated with partner company. User role assignment is 2nd step and done by customer company DA (not partner company DA). First, request partner DA to associate yourself with partner company as per below step 1.

 

Step 1:

Select User-Company Associations > Associate User to My Company.

Enter a valid Cisco username or email address, and then click Next.

Specify a company location, and then click Finish. A notification is sent to the user that confirms the association with your company.

 

Once above is done, request customer company DA to assign you a CBR role.
