Hello community,
Do you know if it is possible to have a SSO cluster between 2 border nodes having also WLC role ? I think it is not possible and there's no other choice than having them in N+1 scenario.
Also, if N+1 scenario, the only way to keep the first border node always primary should be to have high availability configured on all Access Points with the 2 IP address, right ?
thank you,

I will check this point for wlc (not 5500 series)
But for 5500 series'
1- config the primary with master flag wlc
2-config dhcp to push IP of only wlc primary
3- make AP join primary
4- config primary with wlc group and add secondary wlc ip
5- now all ap get two ip from primary wlc
6- remove mastee flag wlc from primary and disasso all AP
Here the AP will start join any one from both WLC depend on some factor
for WLC 9800

Hello MHM,
Thank you. So should I run the commands wireless priming-controller on the Border 1 only ? Is there a way to do so from the DNA Center ?

Embedded WLC in HASSO requires the switches to be in SSO too: Stackwise Virtual, Stackwise (9300), etc.
Separate Borders can only become N+1 if both are embedded.
