Hello all!
Ihave a question. My SAN layout is configured of 4 switches (2 remote/2 local).
Fabric A:
Switch1 <------- DWDM -------- > Switch 3
Fabric B:
Switch 2 <------- DWDM ---------> Switch 4
I made a change to the Call Home feature on switch 1, however it sent the contact infor and everything to switch 3. I am not the contact person for switches 3 & 4.
My question is this: If I turn off CFS, will it interfere with the zoneset distribution? I need the switches to be aware of the zones in both fabrics.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Nathan

Hi,
Zoneset distribution does not use CFS.
You may disable cfs callhome distribuiton independently or use CFS Regions.
Enabing Call Home Fabric distribution.

dakester,
Thank you for your response. That ahs definitely helped me. I disabled CFS using your suggestion. However, when I did I saw that the callhome was still under CFS control (device manager said that CFS was still enabled). Thus I found the distribute command under the callhome section. I executed the following commands:
conf t
calhome
no distruibute
ctrl-z
That helped me completely remove the callhome feature from CFS control.
Thank you for putting me onto that path!
Regards,
Nathan
