Nexus fport-channel-trunk problem

I have a Nexus 5548UP running 5.0(3)N2(1) and I want to enable the fport-channel-trunk command but I cannot enable this feature. When I issue a show feature I see it as a disabled feature but I cannot turn this on. I want to enable this so I can set up an F-Port Channel to a Fabric Interconnect 6120 (UCS).

I have enabled the following features

feature fcoe

system default switchport trunk mode off
feature telnet
cfs ipv4 distribute
cfs eth distribute
feature lacp
feature vpc
feature lldp

feature npv

feature npiv

I am also running the following licenses

MP-N5KUP-01(config)# sho license usage

Feature                      Ins  Lic   Status Expiry Date Comments

                                 Count

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FCOE_NPV_PKG                  No    -   Unused             -

Any help would be useful

Your N5k is configured to be in NPV mode and hence fport-channel-trunk is not a feature you can configure. However, the NP ports on the NPV switch can be bound into a channel/trunk to a NPIV/core switch which has

fport-channel-trunk configured.
