I have 8 ACLs on a CBS350-24XS with firmware 3.5.0.24. Total number of ACEs across all ACLs is 360. About 244 of these ACEs are in ACLs which are active (bound to VLANs).
Status and Statistics -> Hardware Resources Utilization tells me that 244 out of a maximum of 1970 ACL and QoS rules are being used.
With this, I am trying to add another rule to an ACL with 116 ACEs. When I try this, I am not getting an error, neither trying it via the GUI nor trying it via SSH in the CLI. But the new ACE never shows up anywhere, neither in the GUI, not in the CLI, nor when I download the running configuration as backup and look at it.
I'm sending all syslog output to a central syslog server. Also no error (or other trace of what I'm doing) there, even though I've enabled all log levels.
I must be doing something wrong, but I have no clue what I could be doing wrong. I'd appreciate any suggestion for what I should try differently to get this working. And happy to share further details, if needed.
