Hi,
I have just purchased this switch and come across an issue during DHCP Option 66 configuration. My ascii strings for Option 66 are above 64 characters which the CBS350 does not allow. I'm using ascii strings to HTTPS URLs in Azure storage blobs, some of these URL's can easily go above 64 characters especially with blob folders in the URL. This Option 66 string is used for Polycom VVX phone provisioning. I have strings with over 80 characters.
Please advise if this can be lifted as this is a show stopper currently. I'd prefer not to return the switch to the reseller for refund if this can be resolved.
Many Thanks,
Matt

- Probably 64 is a limit on this device , you may use an URL shortened or else talk and or complain to cisco :

Thanks!
Unfortunately we can't alter the URL's.
I've just tested the character limit on a old C3560C-8PC and found this is be 237, and also the limit on a c3850 is 225 so I'm hoping this is just an oversight.
Cheers,
Matt

- Why don't you use an url shortener app as there are many available on the internet an example being https://www.shorturl.at/

These devices are not in the small business range and or the small business switches are sometimes limited w.r.t. a number of performance parameters ,
